Reflection on the message for 13th June

Having read Irene's message these words stood out to me: "We must have faith in the tremendous power of God who has allowed us to share in the very life of Christ". Having thought about them I felt I wanted ot share this with whoever reads it:

How is it possible to feel so special and at the same time so insignificant? I am so honoured to be part of God's Kingdom on earth and when I think what God has given me (us) and what He has forgiven me, it makes me realsie how awesome it all is.

But who am I, who is anyone compared to God? - I (we) are nothing. How easy it is for me to forget that it is God's plan I should be following and not my own. How easy to forget God leads and I should follow. I can't do God's work without God; He has to go first and prepare the way. It is in His time not mine.

Let us pray that God will fill our hearts with His Spirit and help us dwell on the fact that we are 'special' in His eyes. To gain the inner peace, joy and hope God freely gives is such a wonderful blessing which comes from "sharing the very life of Christ".
